Frequently Asked Questions
For destination weddings, I make custom packages for my couples. All travel and stay will be included in the flat rate I give you after discussing everything you want me to capture for your wedding weekend!! I absolutely love traveling and am SO excited for your big day.
I. What are your travel rates?
Once you tell me your vision, I will help find a location (or multiple) you and your partner absolutely love. I will find the perfect spot for you, from the mountains to the oceans and any international location!
II. What if we don't know where to elope/have our session?
Do not panic about the weather or obsessively refresh the weather app leading up to your day! Forecasts change SO quickly, and we can't change the weather — so let's embrace it! The most artsy, moody, cinematic photos are when it rains. Target sells some cute clear umbrellas we can pick up in a pinch, and I'll scout for locations that are beautiful & covered, whether that's indoors or under awnings/trees/etc. Some of my favorite weddings have been rainy ones, so no stress! I promise it will still be best day ever!
III. What if it rains?
This is up to you, but I recommend one for a few reasons! First, my style of photography works best when we've gotten to know each other. An engagement sesh is the perfect time for us to hang out & spend time together before your day! It's also a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, and practice makes perfect. Finally, it's natural to feel a bit nervous/awkward when you're not used to having your photo taken, but your engagement session will make you two pros by the time the wedding rolls around!
IV. Do we have to do an engagement session?
You'll receive a sneak peek gallery of a few photos within 48 hours of your wedding/session (I know you're anxious to 'gram!). For couples/engagements, pictures are delivered within 2 weeks. For weddings + elopements, photos are delivered within 8-10 weeks weeks.
V. When will we receive our photos?
This is SO important. And I take extra precautions to keep your memories safe. Your photos will be backed up in 3 different spots. (My SD cards I shot on and two separate hard drives) Raws will not be deleted until the entire gallery is delivered to you.
